The most ideal time to fly to Entebbe would be in less rainy seasons and the months when the temperatures are convenient to move around, and that is in between June and October. Along with that, you get the opportunity to witness marine life to its fullest. Likewise, at the Ngamba islands, you can do all the fishing activities too. These islands do not just provide you with an opportunity to fish around, but it also facilitates 48 confiscated and orphaned chimpanzees.
The most inexpensive way to travel around the city is with Boda-Boda (motorcycle taxis). Alternatively, tourists may hire a cab to personalize their trip even better. Taxis may not be as cheap as the Boda-Boda, but they are easily accessible and comparatively safe.
The Entebbe International Airport (EBB) being close to the city center (approx. 2.5 miles or 4 km), gives you the opportunity to travel easily. The Airport Transfer Company provides shuttle services and taxi transportations. The fares for them are fixed so you need not negotiate the prices beforehand. Major hotels also provide shuttle services. Such shuttle services can be branded with a blue square or a blue stripe.
